Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Naija AI website and the services offered through it. By registering an account or using the site you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived: take the ten minutes.
1. Use of the website and services
The website is an informational and marketing platform: it presents the offer, carries the registration process and provides access to the trading tools. Trading transactions themselves are executed with the licensed legal entities and service providers that operate the trading infrastructure, not by the website operator in its own name. You may use the services for lawful personal purposes, in your own name only, if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts under Nigerian law. One person may hold one account; duplicates discovered during verification are closed with the earliest account retained.
2. Restrictions
You may not: use the service on behalf of another person or lend your verified account to anyone; misrepresent your identity, address or source of funds; use the platform to breach any applicable law, including exchange-control and anti-money-laundering rules; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the infrastructure, other accounts or data; interfere with normal platform operation, including through automated scraping of the site; or resell access to the platform's tools without written agreement. Breach of these restrictions can result in suspension while we investigate, and termination where the breach is established.
3. Marketing materials and information emails
By registering you agree to receive service messages: verification updates, security alerts, withdrawal notices and changes to these terms; these are operational and cannot be switched off while you hold an account. Marketing email, market summaries and product news are separate, are sent only with your consent, and every message carries a working unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time from your dashboard or by email, without affecting your account or your rights.
4. Intellectual property
The site's design, texts, graphics, the Naija AI name and logo, and the platform's software are protected by intellectual-property rights and remain the property of Naija AI or its licensors. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, retaining all notices. You may not copy, adapt, redistribute or use any part of the site or platform commercially, register any similar name or mark, or remove proprietary notices. Exchange names referenced on the site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
5. Privacy
How we collect, use, store and share personal data is set out in full in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. The short version: we collect only what the service and applicable law require, we use it for the purposes stated there, and we do not sell it. Where these terms and the Privacy Policy could be read to conflict, the Privacy Policy prevails on data questions.
6. Links
The site contains links to third-party websites and services, including payment providers and data sources, provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, security or practices, and do not endorse them by linking. Your use of any third-party site is on that site's own terms. If you arrived at what looks like our site from a link and the address is not naija-ai.com, you are on a third-party copy: see the Fraud warning page.
7. Prohibited use
Beyond the general restrictions in section 2, you specifically may not: attack or probe the infrastructure, including vulnerability scanning without written permission; introduce malware or attempt to intercept other users' data; infringe intellectual-property rights belonging to us or third parties; transmit spam, chain messages or unsolicited commercial material through our systems; or use a stolen payment credential under any circumstances. Activities of this kind are reported to the relevant Nigerian authorities where the law requires or permits, and you remain liable for the consequences of your actions.
8. Support
Support is available by email at [email protected], Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 WAT, and through your personal manager once your account is active. We commit to a first reply within one working hour during support hours for account-access and payment questions, and within one working day for general matters. Formal complaints follow the procedure on the Complaints page and are never treated as ordinary tickets.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we work to keep information accurate and systems available, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. Market data shown on the site, including ticker prices, may be delayed or imprecise and must not be relied upon as the basis of a decision. Nothing on the site is investment advice, and no communication from our staff should be understood as such.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, Naija AI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost savings or opportunity costs, arising from use of the site or services. Our aggregate liability for direct losses arising from our own negligence or breach is limited to the total of fees you paid to the platform in the three months preceding the event, except where a higher limit is mandated by law, including cases of death, personal injury or fraud. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Naija AI against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any law or third-party right, provided we notify you of the claim promptly and reasonably cooperate in your defence. This indemnity does not apply where the claim arises from our own act or omission.
Other provisions
If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganisation with notice to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes, subject always to the escalation and external-resolution routes described on the Complaints page.
Changes: we may update these terms as the service and applicable requirements evolve. An updated version takes effect when published on this page, and material changes are announced to registered users by email at least 14 days before they apply. Continued use after that date means acceptance; if you do not accept a material change, you may close your account and withdraw your balance before the change takes effect.
