Fraud warning
Our company takes every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity very seriously. From time to time we identify companies that use our name or names similar to ours without permission. This can cause confusion and spread false information about our company and its services. This page exists so you can tell the difference between us and them.
The only domain we operate from is naija-ai.com. Any other website, app, social media page or WhatsApp group claiming to be Naija AI, however convincing, is not ours.
Why we publish this notice
Fraud in the Nigerian investment space typically works by borrowing a real company's name, copying its website design and redirecting payments to personal accounts. The fraudsters benefit from the trust a legitimate platform has built, and the real company gets the blame when victims lose money. We publish this notice because an informed user is the strongest defence we both have: if you know how we actually operate, a clone becomes easier to spot.
Clone companies
If you suspect you are dealing with a clone company using our brand, name or logo, do not share personal information and notify us immediately at [email protected]. We work continuously to identify clone operations, and we are clear-eyed about the limits: some clones remain undetected for a period before they are found and reported. Users should always verify the legitimacy of any company they deal with online before sharing personal data or beginning any business relationship. Check the domain character by character, confirm the contact details against this site, and remember that a professional-looking interface proves nothing on its own.
How to verify you are talking to us
- Web address: naija-ai.com exactly, with no extra words, hyphens or country suffixes added.
- Email: official messages come from addresses ending in @naija-ai.com. Free mail providers are never used by our staff.
- Payments: deposits go only to accounts shown inside your dashboard after login, never to an account sent by chat, SMS or phone call.
- Pressure: our managers inform and assist; they do not count down your screen time or threaten that an opportunity disappears in minutes.
- Guarantees: we state plainly that trading carries risk. Anyone promising fixed returns "in the name of Naija AI" is lying twice.
Misuse of our name
We are aware of cases where our name and personal details of our staff have been misused for fraudulent purposes, and these are outside our control. While we sincerely regret the financial losses suffered by anyone caught in such schemes, our company is not liable for fraudulent operations carried out purportedly on our behalf. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulators when such cases are reported, and we encourage anyone affected to file reports with the Nigerian police and the relevant consumer protection bodies.
Report it
If something feels wrong, write to [email protected] with the words "fraud report" in the subject line. Include the website address, phone number or account details you were given, and any messages you received. We answer every report, and your message may be the one that stops the next person from losing money.
Three tells of a scam approach
- It arrives uninvited, a call, DM or WhatsApp message about an investment opportunity you never asked about. We do not cold-call strangers.
- It rushes you, bonuses expiring in hours, prices rising while you think. Real opportunities survive a night of sleep.
- It moves off the record, asking you to chat only on WhatsApp or Telegram and never in writing. Legitimate firms put things in writing precisely so both sides keep proof.
One scam pattern deserves its own sentence: someone offering to recover money you already lost to a previous scam, for a fee paid upfront. Recovery scams chase the same victims twice; nobody legitimate charges you to get your own money back.
