A technology platform built in Lagos, for Nigerians

Naija AI is a technology platform designed to help people who are interested in investing understand the market better and make calmer decisions. We value clarity, transparency and safety, and we work to create an environment where users can act with confidence even in fast-moving markets, through information, analytical tools and prompt support. We are honest about one thing above all: trading carries risk, and we would rather you hear that from us on page one than from your bank statement later.

Our mission

To give Nigerians a calm, transparent way to take part in automated trading, with clear information, honest risk disclosure and a real person to talk to at every step.

In practice that means three commitments. First, plain language: every summary the platform produces is written to be understood on a phone screen in a Danfo queue, not in a dealing room. Second, honest numbers: we show losing days in the same report as winning ones, because a platform that only shows green is a platform that is hiding something. Third, a human being: every new user speaks to a personal manager before any deposit is made, and that manager stays with the account afterwards.

What we are not

We are not a bank, we do not take deposits into our own balance sheet, and we do not promise profits. The engine is a tool that acts on market patterns; markets can turn against any position, and part of our job is making that risk impossible to miss.

Five years of building

From a small research team to a platform serving users across Nigeria.

  1. 2021

Naija AI was founded in Lagos as a small research team building probability-based models that could watch the naira, gold and major digital assets at the same time. The first version of the platform ran for a closed group of early users.

  2. 2022

We launched the automated engine for all registered users and added the personal manager service, so that every new account gets a call from a real person before the first deposit. NIP instant bank transfers went live for deposits and withdrawals.

  3. 2023

The AI layer learned to summarise its market reading in plain language, and we introduced the risk-control mechanisms that can pause trading when markets become excessively volatile. Card deposits via Visa and Mastercard were added.

  4. 2024

We rebuilt the dashboard for mobile, extended coverage to more stock indices and digital assets, and opened the OPay wallet channel. The compliance desk grew to handle verification and monitoring in line with applicable Nigerian requirements.

  5. 2025

Naija AI passed a full security review, added login alerts and session management for every account, and published plain-language guides in Nigerian English so beginners can start without learning trading jargon.

How we work, day to day

Four working principles that predate the platform and outlast any feature.

Write for the reader

Every report, alert and legal page is drafted for the newest user in the room. If a sentence needs a finance degree, it comes back for rewriting, not for a glossary.

Say the risk out loud

Losing weeks appear in the same summaries as winning ones, and our marketing pages link the risk disclosure as readily as the sign-up form.

One person per account

Support is a named manager who knows your setup, not a rotating queue. Relationships, not tickets, are how problems actually get solved.

Boring where it counts

Verification before trading, encryption by default, audit logs nobody can edit. The exciting part of this business is the markets, not the security incidents.

If those principles match how you like to be treated, the Careers page lists where we are hiring, and the Contact page has every way to reach a human.
